A Message from a Cat Owner
Dear Debra and Eric
It has been several weeks since I have visited you. Thank God. I had meant to write this sooner. I just want to thank you for your hospitality, professionalism and courtesy, from Grandma to Hoover to Slick.
For me, in my cat world, it has been a very bad year. I have lost 5 cats (plus my parent's cat) in a time frame of 14 months. Having to switch crematories in the midst of all this was not an easy task. I must admit I had no idea what I was getting into. I was used to Abbey Glen's tradition and protocol. Giving that up was a scary undertaking. They have served me well for at least 10 cats over the past 10 years.
However, the service you provided for Mister Slick, the happy guy's cremation went beyond my expectations. I was able to share this wonderful cat with you. He was a big boy with an even bigger personality. It meant a lot to me that I would show him off one more time.
I felt at home with you, I even had a good time visiting you. What I found was a truly lovely place with people that are sincere, welcoming and real. You are wonderful people to make such a horrible, emotional experience a pleasant one.
I thank you for indulging me in looking at my many cat pictures. They are all special in their own unique way.
I have nothing but rave reviews when my coworkers ask about Hamilton Pet Meadow. It was really wonderful. I wish you all nothing but the best and that your dreams are fulfilled.
Peace,
Heidi
A Letter From Barbra and George 1/29/2002
Dear Debbie, Linda and Chris,
Your friendship and compassion meant so very much in getting us through the devastation of a last farewell to our beloved cat, Princess. As you could see, it hit us as hard as losing a family member - she was family to us. We were so touched by your interest in her life - she was a very rare character - so close to her first roots in her high-spirited nature.
We've told our vet about your wonderful facility and the caring people who run it. She is sharing our feedback with other pet owners.
God bless you for your kind hearts in reaching out to us.
Sincerely,
Barbra and George
A Letter From Charlene and Ken 1/27/2003
Dear Debra and Lynda,
On January 25th we brought to you our "Muffin" to close the circle of her life... Thank you for the compassionate and respectful way you tendered to her. Your handling of the affair and kind words over coffee made a difficult time less painful. Your caring way and the Meadow's atmosphere was so comforting. The service you provide and the manner in which you deliver it means so very much to those of us who feel we are parting with a piece of our heart.
We are so very grateful,
Charlene and Ken
A Letter From Sharyn 2/12/2001
Dear Linda,
First, I must say that I seldom write these type letters 'cause most businesses "just" meet my expectations and not much more. Not so with yours!
I have never experienced such understanding and warmth - in all dealings with my dogs (even the vet). From the moment I frantically called you Weds. AM 'til I drove out Sat. - I never once felt like I was rushed or you had something better to do than listen to me cry over Meggen ( and that is quite remarkable considering I ramble on!!) Especially so when I came in Sat. - It gave me a chance to talk it out, see Meeggen at rest, and gradually leave. I marvel the way it was dealt with so smoothly - much like a funeral service for people. Yours is a much-needed service to us that consider our dear pets like the true family members they are.
I will highly recommend your service in my dealing with people that have aging pets. I'm in the process of designing and ordering new cards, when they arrive I'll send some to you if anyone may need my service. Hope that's ok.
Again, thank you so much for "being there" and understanding how special Megg was to me. Please also thank Debbie, Ed and her sons for joining the conversation Sat. to make me feel more at ease during a difficult time for me.
Sincerely,
Sharyn
A Letter From Debbie 3/19/2002
Dear Linda, Debra, Jo, and Deb's Dad,
Thank you all so very much for all of your generous kindness and compassion. Because of the services you provide and the professional yet heart-felt way you handled everything. I was able to say farewell to my beloved She-She in such a peaceful and positive manner. Truly, it was a much better experience than I ever anticipated. By being able to bring She-She to you myself, being able to sit with her as long as I needed to, and then being allowed to participate as much or as little as I wished in the cremation process - this all helped to resolve a lot of my grief. Thank you again for all of your kindness.
Sincerely,
Debbie
